The mission of Columbia College's Ponderosa Pantry is to provide food and basic meal necessities through a collaborative effort that starts with our students on campus and extends throughout the community. We are committed to providing resource eligibility information that begins with procuring food and essentials for any student in a moment of need. Whether finding the next meal, groceries for the week, or stretching a pay check, Columbia College strives for every student to make sustainable food connections. While maintaining a community food bank on behalf of our partnering agencies, Ponderosa Pantry serves as the starting point for more informed and educated access to food, nutrition, and budgeting resources for healthy living.

Food Resources Available to All - Why?

  • Food insecurity is directly linked to negatively impacting student success.
  • Students need food when they are hungry in order to perform at their best.
  • Students cannot function to their fullest capacity when they are unsure how to find their next meal.


The Ponderosa Pantry is located in the Ponderosa Building (aka the Student Center) across from the Laurel Complex (Child Care Center) and next to Pinyon (the Health Center).

Non-perishable food items are in stock.

Monday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM by appointment.

Fridays - Campus closed
