Columbia College Promise
The Columbia College Foundation is pleased to offer the Columbia College Promise for local high school seniors enrolling at Columbia College. The Promise program makes it possible for every qualified local public or private high school graduate or GED or CHSPE earner to attend Columbia College fulltime, tuition free, for two full years of consecutive semesters if they enroll immediately after graduation. The program service area includes high school graduates throughout the college service area which includes Oakdale and Waterford, and to Mariposa and Calaveras, both adjacent rural high school districts. The program, a three-year pilot launched in Fall 2018, is funded by Columbia College and gifts from individuals and community partners who care deeply about education for local youth.
To be eligible for the Promise a student must reside in one of the following counties or cities:
- Tuolumne County
- Calaveras County
- Mariposa County
