The Columbia College Basic Needs program aims to assist students with navigating on-campus and community resources as related to basic needs such as housing, food, medical care, transportation, and more. Fulfilling basic needs is a key component in achieving educational success. 

This Basic Needs web page includes a resource guide for students to check out what college and community programs may be available to assist them. Specific details about each resource may change, so checking in with each program to get up to date information is encouraged.

Free Community Health Services Event

Discover Life Seventh Day Adventist Church of Sonora is hosting a free health clinic for community members on October 12th and 13th at 40 North Forest Road in Sonora. Free services including dental, medical, vision, foot care, physical therapy screenings, hair-cutting, chiropractic, and massage will be available for anyone over 18 years old. Participants do not have to have any isnurance to qualify for the event. 
Registration begins at 7:30 AM and participants will be served on a first-come first-served basis. Be aware that nobody under 18 years old may attend the event. Translators will be available for Spanish speakers. For more information visit the Discover Life event web page
