EOPS
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state funded program that serves educationally and financially disadvantaged students. EOPS provides services that assist students who have the potential to succeed in college.
EOPS provides a variety of supportive services to enhance academic success for students challenged by income, educational, and/or language barriers. Students participating in EOPS will engage in a series of activities and services designed to strengthen skills necessary to achieve personal and academic success as they complete a certificate, degree or transfer program. Services of eligible students include book and required course material vouchers, priority registration, counseling, financial assistance, university transfer assistance, Lending Library and more.

CARE
The Cooperative Agencies and Resources for Education (CARE) program is designed to serve EOPS for the academically underprepared, underrepresented, welfare-dependent, single head of household student population to achieve academic and personal success.
The Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) program promotes students' success by offering specialized services to full-time students who are single parents receiving public assistance (CalWORKs/TANF)
