Our Mission

At the Columbia College Math Resource Center (known as the Math Lab to many) we offer guidance in the world of mathematics.  We welcome all levels of math to receive "helpful pushes" in the right direction as students gain knowledge and confidence in their own personal math skills and abilities.  We offer a positive and supportive work environment where everyone has the opportunity to gain a stronger understanding of mathematics and how it is utilized in their every day lives. We also foster the idea of students collaborating with one another, however, individual questions can be fielded.  Besides tutoring on a drop-in basis, we have many other useful resources available such as, Instructor's and Student's editions of all current math textbooks used on campus, a library of other excellent guides and textbooks, and access to graphing calculators and online computers.  We encourage any student struggling, or not, of any level of mathematics to come and experience what we have to offer.
