Campus and community resources to help students take care of their personal needs.

Lactation Spaces on Campus

  • FIR 211 provides a space for students to pump or breastfeed. The room has a small refrigerator for storing milk if needed. The fridge is emptied every Friday evening so be sure to collect anything before then each week.

  • PINYON (campus health & wellness center) provides a resting room for students to pump or breastfeed. 
  • LAUREL (campus child care center) provides a space for students to pump or breastfeed. 

Access to Showers 

  • Give Someone a Chance Shower Bus Service

    Give Someone a Chance is an organization that provides showers to people in need. Showers are on a bus that travels to different spots in Tuolumne County weekly. Organization is also implementing a traveling laundry services. To find out where the bus will be this week, call (209 ) 588-8377.  

  • San Andreas Community Covenant Church Shower Ministry
    Every Wednesday from 3 pm to 5 pm
    261 Treat Avenue in San Andreas 
    (Community meal served Wednesdays 4:30 pm to 6 pm and clothes closet from 4 pm to 5:30 pm)

Home Supplies

  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore
    Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit home improvement store and donation center that sells new or gently used items such as furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials at reduced prices. The store is located at 14301 Mono Way Suite A in Sonora and is open from 9:30 am to 5 pm Mondays through Saturdays.  Learn more online.
