Courses Offered

Courses offered at the Amador Economic Prosperity Center meet three needs.

  • The courses, over two years, make up the Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences degree. So you can earn a degree in two years (including a couple required online courses).
  • All courses meet CSU and UC general educa on (GE) requirements for transfer.  So you can complete your university GE requirements locally.
  • All courses meet Columbia College GE requirements.  So if you previously completed a certificate and now want a degree, you can complete the requirements here.

Courses are offered at the center via video broadcast (Zoom), providing interaction with the instructor and a group of students at Columbia College and an interactive group learning environment with a smaller group at the Prosperity Center.
Courses are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings. The college is seeking to augment these offerings soon.
