At the conclusion of the following courses, students will be expected to understand and demonstrate the following student learning outcomes related to each course.
705A 1. Demonstrate the ability to ask and respond to basic learned phrases.
2. Recognize and write letters, numbers, and common sight words.
705B 1. Demonstrate the ability to ask and respond to basic survival needs and routine social demands.
2. Read and interpret simple material on familiar topics.
705C 1. Read and interpret simplified and some authentic material on familiar subjects.
2. Demonstrate the ability to converse in limited social demands and familiar contexts.
705D 1. Converse fluently about different college majors.
2. Read a college course catalog and explore majors.
705E 1. Use basic word processing functions for writing short essays.
2. Identify errors and proofread.
