The SLO mentor program evolved in the summer of 2008 after a survey was done during a faculty retreat. Faculty indicated they wanted individualized assistance in the development, assessment, revision and coordination of their SLOs. The concept was adopted by the SLO Workgroup, and expanded to encompass a non-instructional peer mentor component as well.
