It provides a brief description of specific magazines, and each magazine has its own link that includes the type of writing it accepts, how to submit a piece, how payment is handled—if there is any!—how long it takes to hear from an editor and other related information.

This link will take you to a site that will let you view the 20 Most Common Errors in college student writing. This is a useful resource, and it has accompanying examples for each error.

Academic Achievement Center hand-outs

This link will take you to Columbia College’s Academic Achievement Center handouts. Each handout explains a specific rule related to grammar, punctuation, and mechanics.
