Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
Members of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will help with income tax preparation from February 27th through April 15th at two Sonora locations. There is no charge for this free community service.
VITA volunteers will be on-hand Wednesdays (except March 6 and March 13) from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursdays (except 3/21) from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on a walk-in basis, in Manzanita 18-1 at the Columbia College main campus; and, on Saturdays (except 3/2 and 3/30) by appointment only at the Tuolumne County Senior Center, located at 540 Greenley Road next to the county library.
Columbia College is located in Sonora off Sawmill Flat Road and attendants in the security booth can provide directions to the Manzanita Building. For more information, contact Vickie Garrett at 588-5246.
