Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

Members of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program can help with income tax preparation from February 17th through April 17th at two Sonora locations.  There is no charge for this free community service.  

VITA volunteers will be on-hand Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (except March 29) from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. on a walk-in basis, in Manzanita 18-1 at the Columbia College main campus; and, on Saturdays by appointment only at the Tuolumne County Senior Center, located at 540 Greenley Road next to the county library.

Columbia College is located in Sonora off Sawmill Flat Road and attendants in the security booth can provide directions to the Manzanita Building.  For more information, contact Vickie Garrett at 588-5246.
