Databases, Magazines and Journals
The Columbia College Library currently subscribes to more than 16,500 magazines and academic journals. The vast majority of these titles are available online to registered students and College employees. The Library's Full-text and Print Magazine page (also available from our homepage) is the most efficient way to locate and access our electronic subscriptions. The Database collection is comprehensive. For Database access from remote sites- you will be prompted for an id which is your "w" number entered without the "w" and the password is your 6-digit birthdate.
eBooks, Books, Movies and Music
Registered students and College employees can access the Library's eBooks via our Library catalog from anywhere in the world. For eBook access from remote sites- you will be prompted for an id which is your "w" number entered without the "w" and the password is your 6-digit birthdate. Students at the Calaveras Center and Oakdale satellite campuses can make an interlibrary loan request for regular books, movies and music through their local library or call us at (209) 588-5179 to make special arrangements. Students taking classes at Baker Station's High Sierra Institute have a focused collection of books available to use during their stay. Search our Library catalog for the phrase 'high sierra institute' to see what titles are available
EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications
To begin using the EBSCOhost Mobile iPhone and Android applications, follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Download the app from the iTunes Store or Android Market
Step 2: View this email on your device, then tap this authentication key

Submit reference questions online via our Ask a Librarian page or email them to the Librarian at email@example.com. Alternatively, you can call the Reference Desk at (209) 588-5248 or the Librarian at (209) 588-5179. The general phone number for the Library is (209) 588-5119.
Columbia College students and employees can request materials from other libraries via interlibrary loan directly within WorldCat. Look for a "Request Item" button that should appear on any item that the library doesn't have. Contact the Interlibrary Loan Department at (209) 588-5248 with your questions or for more information.
The Librarian is available to conduct Library orientations at off-campus locations. Instructors are encouraged to contact the Librarian to schedule a Library orientation.
