Mental Health Resources

There is a new mental health crisis line; similar to 911, anyone can now call 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This replaces the former 10-digit number. 988 offers 24/7 access to trained counselors who can help people experiencing mental health-related distress including thoughts of suicide, mental health or substance use crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress.

Campus and community resources for students regarding mental health.

Free assistance is available. Meet with the Basic Needs Coordinator: fill out the Intake Form.

  • Columbia College Health Services

Students may want to make a counseling appointment to receive support, personal guidance, emotional help, connection, or just someone to talk to privately. Emotions such as stress, anger, anxiety, depression, isolation, loneliness, and much more can be overwhelming to handle on your own.
To schedule an appointment with our mental health coordinator, contact ccmhservices@yosemite.edu or call (209) 588-5283 or drop by Pinyon - The Student Health and Wellness Center.
