The Gold Country
has been a Wine Country since many early miners sought their favorite
homeland beverage. It's been over 130 years since vineyards and
wineries sprang up in the Columbia and Sierra Foothill area. Thirty
years ago the California wine industry experienced a rebirth. It was
also about the same time that the Columbia College Hospitality and Culinary
Arts Program realized remarkable growth. We can proudly say that
Columbia graduates are now found in kitchens and dining rooms throughout the
culinary world. Your support of the Wine Tasting assures Columbia students the best we can offer. Student scholarships and assistance are direct results of this tasting.
