Financial Aid Events
Upcoming 2017 Events
'Cookies and Cash' day on April 11 from 8:00a to 5:00p. Students who stop by the Financial Aid Office can receive assistance with completing their 2016-2017 or 2017-2018 FAFSA, renew their BOG Fee Waiver for the Summer 2017 term, or receive hands on assistance with completing any verification documents that need to be completed. By checking in with their Financial Aid Technician, they will be eligible for a cookie and maybe even qualify for cash in the form of grants or candy.
Community Financial Aid Workshops:
When:Thursday, March 2nd and Friday, March 3rd from 8am-5pm
Where: Columbia College Financial Aid Office, Manzanita Office 205
What: The Columbia College Financial Aid Office invites the community to a free Financial Aid Workshop. Financial Aid professionals will be available to assist anyone interested in filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and will be available to answer any questions pertaining to financial aid.
When: Saturday, April 8th from 9am-1pm
Where: The Junction Starbucks Conference Room (13761 Mono Way, Sonora)
What: The Columbia College Financial Aid Office invites the community to a free Financial Aid Workshop at Starbucks located at 13761 Mono Way in the Junction shopping center. Financial Aid professionals will be available to assist anyone interested in filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and will be available to answer any questions pertaining to financial aid.
Foster Youth College Info Night
Join us for free Pizza and information about what Columbia College offers current and former Foster Youth! Graduating High School Seniors (& anyone ready to attend any college) will also receive hands-on help completing the FAFSA from financial aid experts! Wednesday, Feb 1, 2017, from 5-7pm, in the Manzanita Building Multi-Purpose Room. Foster Youth, Caregivers/Guardians/Foster Parents & Advocates are encouraged to attend.

- Bret Harte High School, February 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
- Summerville High School, February 28th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
