Foster Youth FAFSA Night

The Financial Aid Office is hosting an informative evening for the foster youth of Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Mariposa Counties. The goal is to inform prospective college students of the services Columbia College has available to them should they choose to pursue higher education. The evening will feature presentations from Financial Aid, EOPS, DSPS, Counseling, and TRiO, and will culminate in the graduating high school seniors completing their financial aid applications for the 2015-2016 school year with the guidance of the Financial Aid Staff.

All community members are welcome to join us at Starbucks to receive professional assistance submitting your financial aid application for the current or upcoming school year! This event is being held on a Saturday for all the working students and families and prior to the Cal Grant deadline of March 2nd. Computers will be available. Drop-ins welcome from 10 to 2!
To apply for the current semester or upcoming summer, please bring: Student's and parents' 2013 financial information, including W2s, filed tax forms, and receipts of other benefits.
To apply for next fall through summer, please bring: Student's and parents' 2014 financial information, including W2s and receipts of other benefits. It's okay if you haven't filed your taxes yet!

Being financially well enables you to focus on other forms of wellness in your life. Come by the Financial Aid Office to talk to a local Bank of Stockton representative about banking, saving, and financing, and pick up some helpful information about how to make the most of your income.

This all-day event will provide incoming students with the opportunity to complete all necessary steps to register for fall classes, including getting information and assistance from your financial aid technician. We will be serving students outside of the library and in the Financial Aid Office
