The mission of the Columbia College Financial Aid Office is to heighten awareness of financial aid opportunities and to ensure availability of financial aid for students who, with out such assistance, would be unable to pursue their educational goals.
A Message Regarding Spring 2010 Financial Aid
For students who have already been awarded financial aid for the spring semester, your first disbursement, scheduled for January 11, 2010, will reflect your enrollment status as of January 4, 2010. You will not be disbursed funds for your wait listed, or late start classes, until your official attendance begins in those courses.
Due to the high volume of financial aid applications received this year, our normal processing time has been extended. During the months of December- February your FAFSA may take up to 10 weeks for processing. Please check your student email regularly for updates.
