Columbia College Jazz Festival

The 33rd annual Columbia College Big Band Jazz Festival will bring 500 music students from 18 school groups to perform in Dogwood this weekend.  All of the students will participate in workshops with top music professionals (schedule below).  The event is free and open to the public….  Join us on your break Friday afternoon to take a peek at Jazz Education in progress.

Evening concert tickets??  -- The festival guest artists will be performing in 3 evening concerts with the college big band… the Friday and Saturday early concerts are sold out.. but tickets still remain for the Saturday 8pm concert (available in the college bookstore, or at the door).

Friday, Feb 3

1:00 - Golden Valley HS “B”, Merced  – Greg Christiansen, director

3:30 – break out clinics for trumpets, trombones, saxes and rhythm
