The Columbia College Grants Network (CCGN) is open to all CC faculty and staff that are currently working on grant projects/programs or are interested in pursuing grant funding for a college-sponsored project or program.
The purpose of the CCGN is to:
Coordinate grant seeking and grant writing activities on campus
Promote understanding of Development Office services and the college's grant application process
Provide forum for discussion, learning, and collaboration
Gain input from faculty & staff regarding grant needs (including educational - e.g., workshop/seminar topics, resource materials, etc.)
Develop resources for grant research & writing assistance (e.g., Samples, checklists/tools, etc. and potentially teams for grant writing support - e.g., editors)
Share information regarding grant opportunities/RFA's, best practices, etc.
The first CCGN meetings will be held at the Division level (Arts & Sciences, Vocational Education, Student Services and Institutional Operations). Depending on the level of interest and need, regular monthly meetings may be campus-wide in the future. Invitations will be sent via email to all CC Users.
