California's community college fees are the lowest in the nation. Without generous contributions from community donors and hard working staff and faculty that secure grant funds, many of the college's important programs and services that assure student success would be inoperable.
California community Colleges receive 52% less funding from the State per student than California State Universities (CSU) and 68% less than University of California (UC) institutions. At the same time, undergraduate student fees are 84% higher at CSU's and 93% higher at UC's.
