The Business Administration core curriculum consists of business principles, marketing standards, business law and ethics, human relations, management, and more. Students in this department will learn the fundamentals of business procedures, ownership, human resources, labor management, distribution of goods and services, target market, competition, profit, finances, managerial controls, and governmental relations.
Students in the Business Administration program will attain the working knowledge and applicable skills to begin their career in business or further their education by transferring units to a University of California or California State University campus of their choice. Studies have shown that students trained in community colleges and transfer to four-year universities perform better in today's workplace than native four-year students.
With our college's small class sizes, we offer many more opportunities for individualized learning than typically found at larger universities. Students receive lots of hands-on computer time to learn important accounting and analytical skills. Best of all, our instructors are very accessible for counseling and critical support when needed.
