Summer/Fall Registration:

Summer Term & Registration Dates:

Summer term begins on May 4. Priority registration dates are April 13 - April 21 depending upon student's priority registration level (see definition of Priority Registration levels in green column on left). Open registration begins on April 22.

Fall Semester & Registration Dates:

Fall semester begins on August 24. Priority registration dates are May 18 - June 9 depending upon student's priority registration level. Open registration begins June 10.  Please continue to check connectColumbia for the list of fall classes which will be available in the near future.

With our new location being on the northeast side of campus, it may be a bit of a walk for you to reach the Admissions and Records Office. We welcome you to stop by our new location however, if you'd like to save yourself the walk, you can take advantage of all the services available on the website via connectColumbia. Admissions Checklist

Application - Complete an application (please allow a minimum of 10 working days for processing).   Residency Requirements.
Official transcripts - Send official, sealed transcripts from all of your prior colleges. If you graduated high school less than 5 years ago, send official, sealed copies of your high school transcripts as well.
Assessment- Attend an assessment session. The assessment is an un-timed computerized test that requires no computer experience. However, a valid photo ID and student ID number are required for admittance. The student ID number is located in the right hand corner of the acceptance email. Please call the Counseling Center on 209.588.5109 to book a seat.
Orientation/Advisement - Attend a college orientation session which provides valuable information on student services, course selection, schedule planning, certificate and degree programs, transfer requirements, and college policies and procedures. Online orientation is also available for those who cannot attend an in-person session.

Course Registration - Register for semester classes on connectColumbia any time on or after the Priority Registration date and time.
Email Setup - Activate your Columbia student email account to receive important information and updates.
Follow-up - Visit a counselor during your first and subsequent semesters to discuss your educational goals and develop an educational plan. Call 209.588.5109 for an appointment, or stop by Sequoia 120 during business hours.
